The grinding wheel is plunge formed by a rotary diamond dresser with a specified profile, thus producing multiple pieces of a component, from one cylindrical blank in a single machine cycle. Heavy duty grinding is achieved through the use of a highly rigid, dual spindle bearing support system, which results in reduced grinding cycle time.
