The machines are on the floor and runoffs are beginning in the new Micron USA facility. A few stock machines are available for "quick delivery" even though Micron is operating at an unpresidented high level of business.

Three new machines were introduced at the Internaltional Machine Tool Show in 2004. Although these machines are not available for viewing in the Micron USA Tech Center, videos are available to feature each grinder.

MQS-300

This is a new breed of small, specialized centerless that features two grinding wheel spindles on separate slides. One application is grinding compressor crankshafts. Another application would be to grind engine valves, stem and seat. This type of machine provides the correct SFM for wide diameter variations.

MPC-150m

Many times customers ask for a small machine to grind small parts. This machine is 31.5" wide and 35.4" inches long. It is a high precision machine designed to grind parts from .020" dia. to .200" diameter. This machine is ideally suited to grind fuel injectors and medical components.

MIG-R10P

> The MIG internal grinder features a double roller, one shoe fixture to grind valve lifters. This design contributes to excellent concentricity between the O.D. and the I.D. of the part.

MPC-600V

A heavy duty 60 to 100 hp workhorse. High stock removal and accuracy married together to provide high efficiency grinding. This modern designed machine meets all of the criteria for high production grinding. This machine is located in our Grand Rapids Tech Center.
